Welcome to my first blog entry!! I hope to give you further insight into who I am, why I am doing this, and invite the desire for you to gleam deeper insight into your own journey…

It was 20 years ago when I was finishing my last term of college in an acting program that felt more like theatrical military than a supportive, creative environment. Why am I sharing this you may ask? I will get to that!

Well, it was a time of chaos and resiliency. Everything seemed to be falling apart, breaking down. There were some serious planetary energies at play. I was under slept, under nourished, and still young enough that I didn’t know things could be different.

I rarely watched tv because I was rarely at home, but one afternoon feeling particularly defeated I turned on the tv… Vicky Gabereau Show was on (a Canadian tv host) with special guest Susan Miller, Professional Astrologer from Astrology Zone. I was captivated by her vast knowledge and enthusiasm. This was 2005 and astrology was not mainstream yet.

From that point on I followed Susan Miller’s website, just reading for my sun sign as I had no idea that we had a rising or moon sign too! Her monthly horoscopes gave me a sense of hope and direction. It was another tool to help me listen to my inner voice and “ask your heart what it doth know”.

Needless to say, all these years later I recognize the poignancy of that synchronistic moment. Thank you, Susan for giving me light in a time of shadow.
